I’m still happily stitching away. I did finish one Christmas cross stitch (woohoo 💃), but then I immediately started another because… apparently one project is never enough. I’m nearly done with this one now and honestly, I’ve loved every minute of it. Slow, satisfying, and very good for the soul.

We’re also getting ready for our live online craft night this Wednesday evening. It’s part two of our bookbinding workshop and I can’t wait to sit down and make together again.

This is a bonus bookbinding video to support our main project and give you a little breathing room between lives 📚✨

In this session, I walk you through saddle stitch and kettle stitch step by step, so you can practise, pause, rewind, and build confidence at your own pace. These stitches are the foundation of our book, and this video is here to help everything click into place.

Please use this video to complete your stitching before we go live again next Wednesday night, January 21st. That way, when we meet back on TikTok and YouTube (this channel), we can jump straight into finishing the book together without rushing or backtracking.

Oops! Please ignore the earlier email - important correction
Hello lovely people,

A quick note to clear up a little confusion caused by an over-enthusiastic bit of tech assistance today.

While AI can be wonderfully helpful when it behaves, yesterday it got a little over-excited. It decided to send not one, not two, but three emails… and even invented its own live workshop for Saturday at 2pm. Impressive imagination, entirely wrong date.

So just to be absolutely clear:

✨ Our live craft night is NOT on Saturday.
✨ It is on Wednesday, 14th January at 7:30pm, exactly as usual.

I use tools like this purely as an assistant to help with admin, but all the heart, creativity, and actual decisions still come from a very real human (me!), and I’m sorry for any confusion caused.

Thank you, as always, for your patience and for being part of such a kind, understanding community. I’m really looking forward to crafting together on Wednesday evening on our Tiktok or Youtube channels.

Just dropped off my bookbinding boxes at the Post Office, I always expect eye rolls for bringing in so many boxes (my issue-feeling a burden, the brillant Post Office staff are always delightful). Instead, the ever-lovely Charlie introduced me to an equally lovely, creative lady who told me about her love for quilting, EPP and rope weaving.
I arrived feeling like a pain in the bum and left with magical inspiration for future boxes.
