At Curious Octopus, we believe creativity should be easy, joyful, and accessible to everyone. That’s why our next Live Craft Night (Wednesday, August 13th at 7.30pm) is all about making Mandala Coasters - a simple yet striking project you can easily join in on, with or without a kit.

What is a Mandala?

A mandala is a geometric pattern that represents wholeness, balance, and harmony. Traditionally used in meditation and spiritual practices, mandalas have found their way into modern crafting as a therapeutic way to relax and express creativity.

The repetitive, circular designs are perfect for calming a busy mind, encouraging focus, and offering a satisfying sense of completion when you finish your piece.

We’re bringing the calm to your home with our next Live Craft Night. Whether you have the Curious Octopus kit or want to use your own materials, you can join us live and craft along.

What You’ll Need:

A plain coaster (wooden, cork, or ceramic)
Acrylic paints/fabric paints or paint pens
A fine liner/sharpie, black and/or white gel pen for details
A compass/mandala stencil

During the workshop, I’ll guide you step-by-step, and you can ask questions or just relax and create alongside our lovely creative community.
