April’s craft of the month: Geometric String Art Kit for Beginners

This month in Curious Octopus, we are sending a Geometric string art kit designed for beginners.

It is a really satisfying mix of hammering nails to get a bit of frustration out, followed by wrapping thread which is actually really calming. You end up with something that looks far more complicated than it is.

If you have never tried string art for beginners, this is a great place to start. It is simple to follow, very absorbing, and you will have something you are genuinely proud of at the end.

This design has a subtle geometric string art feel to it, so you get that clean, structured look without it being complicated to make.

Each box is a craft kit for adults and includes everything you need to get started. Your wooden board is already marked out, and you will receive pins, thread and the tools you need to complete the design. You do not need any experience, I will guide you through it step by step.

It is also a lovely creative hobby if you are looking for something mindful to do with your hands. Projects like this are great as beginner craft ideas because you can switch off a bit while you are making them.

We will be making this together in a live online workshop on April 22nd. It is a little later than usual this month because of Easter, but you can either join live or watch the replay whenever suits you.
