Missed this one? I have a limited number of our September craft boxes still available, so you can still have a go at creating your own beautiful batik turtle.
Batik is a traditional fabric painting technique that uses wax resist to control where the colours go, allowing them to flow and blend beautifully without bleeding into areas where you don’t want them.
And we’ve made this one really easy. Your fabric comes already prepared with the wax resist design, so you can skip straight to the satisfying bit: adding water, adding colour and watching your underwater scene come to life.
Your box contains everything you need to create your own batik turtle, including the pre waxed fabric, fabric paints, brushes and embroidery hoop for displaying your finished piece.
No previous experience needed. Take your time, experiment with the colours and enjoy trying something completely different.
